Memoriam just released their first single titled “Sated Bull”, which gives you a taste of their earlier melodic affiliations. The song speaks for the Native American struggle and punished injustice. At the moment, they are rehearsing and writing new content, promising a different outcome in almost every new song, as their motto says, “Be expecting more!”.
In denial, his whole life
His pride remains buried, in his brain
Submitted, lays his hand next to the heart.
Woke up, an end to browbeating
His rebirth, will be unforgiving,
Like a volcano ready to erupt
The shout will pierce, every single man
Cleaning the ashes of once self
Holding the leashes for a certain aim
Clashing over self-determination
No more dread of annihilation
If we must die, we must die defending our rights
Then every seed is awakened
Along with all animal life
Stone in my heart,
A buffalo ready to fight,
Unshackled lost prophets,
A bloodsport that perished all tribes.
Sated … Bull!
Crevasse the lands, the voracious settler commands,
Offspring succumbed, civilizing mission set up,
Behowl as a pack, expose the wolf within man,
Wear the black hand, a gesture that’s apt for assault.
I’m not ready to submit.
